We’ve been asked all sorts of questions. You might not have need for 23 questions, but many of these will apply to your situation and should help you feel confident you’ll get the outcomes you want and need for your business when you choose to work with Dance Monkey.

Here are some great questions we’ve been asked and the answers we consistently give.

If you have a question that we haven’t answered here that would help you make a good decision to hire Dance Monkey for your website, please click and ask us here.

1. Will Dance Monkey review and analyse my existing website prior to building my new website?

If you have an existing site, we will absolutely review your current site with you in your Web Project Briefing Session that we do with each new client. We are genuinely interested in helping you get what you need.

During a Blueprint Session Analysis, you’ll learn a lot about your current content, images and how they effect your outcomes. Too many times web agencies will just give your current site a facelift and not make it more effective in ranking better with Google or generate better lead or sales.

A facelift is about what looks like, reimagining it and revitalising it is about performance and outcomes. When someone does a facelift, it won’t last long and you’ll need a new one again soon.

2. Are you creating a fully custom-made website, or customising an existing theme/template?

It’s important for you to know whether you’re being offered a truly custom-made website that’s coded and designed from scratch, or a a website built by customising an existing theme/template for a popular content management system (CMS) such as WordPress or Joomla, or a combination of both. Price-wise, a fully custom-made website is the most expensive, followed by a hybrid model, and then by the customised theme.

We use a hybrid version which gives us better control of creating the right flow and framing for your content and predesigned outcomes. A hybrid model has many advantages that we discuss with you in your briefing session. To discuss your web project, please click here to book a Dance Monkey Blueprint Session.

3. Any web design technical limitations I should be aware of?

Dance Monkey is a hybrid website design system. It is highly customisable, but it is has its limits. That's why Dance Monkey specialises in SMB and Professional Service Business Web Projects. In our clients arena we have not limitations, in fact our system scores very high in customisation as well as having limited need for plug-ins which tend to slow a website down to a crawl. Most customers don’t know exactly what it is they want or need for their website and that is why we spend time explaining exactly how it works and why benefits it provides to you. If you have a very specific design or technology feature request for your website, be sure to ask your Dance Monkey representative to see if we can easily fulfil your request. on what can and cannot be done. 4. Should I provide the written copy for the website, or do you provide it?

Most web designers are not copywriters, but Dance Monkey has designed a content development process that we work through together to assure the highest quality content that is influential and SEO rich.

We know from experience that most clients are not overly skilled in writing content for website success, that’s why we take you through everything you’ll need to know to develop the best possible content you can. Many times we spend two or three sessions with a client to assure their confidence in their content that we will launch the website with. 5. Do you provide a Photoshop file for the design of the website?

We do not provide a Photoshop file of the website. The reason is simple, we will be working through the content and each engagement element that will go into the site. Because you will see how each element works individually and in your wireframe prior to the build we have found this hands on approach has given our clients a much better understanding of what the site look and feel will be, making the build easy and no surprises for the client when they see the finished site.

85 plus percent of our clients don’t even need to make changes at their site review after the build is done. The remaining percentage need less than 5 changes made before we can go live with their website. To discuss your web project, please click here to book a Dance Monkey Blueprint Session.

6. Do you design logos in case I need one?

10. How will you make my website stand out, so it doesn’t look cookie-cutter?

This is an interesting question because what we have done is create a single web brief and left the design open to customers interpretation. What we got was 34 different websites that each stood out in their own way.

Some the content delivered the difference, in others it was the flow and framing of the content and engagement elements. That's the beauty of structure, within it you have the ability to create without the distractions of too many choices.

It takes a lot of effort to get traffic to come to your website, so we believe in having social media icons placed strategically in the connect section and in the footer of every page. 12. How will my new website help me generate more sales? Will you integrate any marketing strategies?

Sales are the outcome of good content, effectively providing information that facilitates the visitors ability to make a good decision and from having several types of Calls To Action.

We know there are two types of sales that can happen, we call them Sales Now and Sales Later. Because of this we add an instance of mailchimp to your website [or your own CRM] to make sure every person who acts on your CTAs is captured in that database giving you multiple additional sales opportunities.

We do have an integrated marketing pattern that assists you in getting your most important points in front of each visitor and we cover that with you during your Dance Monkey Web Project Briefing Session. We have a great amount of experience with ecommerce sites. We will add into your site Woocommerce so that you can sell your products and services directly on your site.

You will still need a personal payment gateway to take different types of payments .e. credit cards, debit cards, direct bank payments, etc. The best part, ecommerce is already built into your Dance Monkey Ecommerce Package Web Project cost.

Such a great question. We don’t believe you can test enough times before a site goes live. We have set in place several planned test points. We start by testing from the content to testing 3 times during the build. We do a specific QA test after the build and prior to you seeing the site. Then we test again before linking your site to the hosting to go live. We provide aftercare as well and for the next 12 months after your site is built, we provide derive and support and tune-ups.
